VISA CHECK CARD


The VISA check card is a plastic card that works like a check - only better. It allows you to access funds from your checking account to pay for purchases and has the following advantages:

• Accepted in most malls, grocery stores, movie theaters, restaurants, gas stations and anywhere VISA Check cards are accepted
• No checkbook or cash to carry
• No check to write
• No waiting for check approval
• When you carry the check card, you're in and out of stores in no time - just sign and go!

Just present the check card at the time of purchase and the amount will be deducted automatically from your checking account. A detailed record of every transaction will be on your monthly checking statement and on cyberteller, our online transaction system. Remember, the VISA Check Card may look like a credit card but it's not. When you present the card to the merchant, all transactions will be deducted from your USF Federal Credit Union checking account. Receipts for VISA Check & ATM Card
Effective August 6, 2007 merchant retailers and terminal owners are no longer required to provide a receipt for purchases or cash withdrawals of $15.00 or under. USF FCU member cardholders will still have all electronic transactions on their monthly statements and shown online through cyberteller. If you find any transactions on your monthly statement that are suspect or that you did not make, please contact us as soon as possible.

Deposits at the ATM Machine
All deposits will be held three business days with the exception of the first $100.00 of your total daily deposits.

Fraud Monitoring
USF Federal Credit Union utilizes the latest technologies to protect your account. We monitor transaction activity 24/7/365 days to deter fraudulent activity before it occurs. When unusual activity occurs on certain accounts our fraud analyst may temporarily suspend transactions and place a call to our cardholders asking to verify the transactions. The fraud analyst will NEVER ask you for your full social security number.
