Q. I am trying to login to cyberteller using my Macintosh. Each time I login to the JAVA version, a blank gray or black box appears where the menu or quick balance information should be. Why is this happening?

Q. When I change my cyberteller PIN to a 6 to 20 character PIN, does it also change my other PIN numbers (i.e. my ATM card, check card and Money-Line)?

A. No. Once you change your cyberteller PIN to a 6 to 20 alphanumeric PIN it becomes unique to cyberteller. Your cyberteller PIN does not affect or change your other PIN numbers that you use at the credit union.

A. The cyberteller application must be completed, printed, signed and then faxed or mailed to:

USF FEDERAL CREDIT UNION
Attn: cyberteller
13302 USF Palm Drive
Tampa, FL 33612

Q. Is there a limit to how much history information I can view in cyberteller?

A. Yes. Our database only stores 6 to 9 months of transaction history before it is archived. If you need to view your account history information prior to this timeframe, contact a Member Service Representative at (813) 569-2000 ext. 7.

Q. Is my ATM PIN number the same as my cyberteller PIN number?

A. No. Your initial/temporary cyberteller PIN is a 4 digit PIN of your choice. The first time you use cyberteller you will be prompted to change this 4 digit PIN to a 6 to 20 alaphanumeric PIN.

Q. What is my Member Number?

A. The Member Number referred in the cyberteller login is the same as your USF FCU Account Number.

Q. How do I view my credit card balances online?

A. You can view your recent debit and credit card transactions, credit card balance and payment information using VISA Online. The VISA Online link can be found under the cyberteller menu bar.

Q. Why is your credit union not displayed in Microsoft Money or Quicken?

A. Our cyberteller service includes the capability to download QIF format online statements to Quicken and MS Money via the HTML Login. We will be adding Intuit OFX certification in the near future.

Q. Is there a way to e-mail the cyberteller application instead of faxing it or mailing it to the credit union?

A. We can only accept your email if you have a way of signing the email. We must be able to verify your signature for security purposes.

Q. I recently upgraded my browser to Netscape 6 and now I cannot login to cyberteller.

A. Unfortunately, as of now Netscape 6 is not compatible with cyberteller and has unstable results on our general website. We are currently redeveloping our site to gain compatibility with Netscape 6 and future browsers.

Q. How can I find out about new features or services offered by the credit union and through cyberteller?

A. Announcements of new features or services offered by the credit union and through cyberteller will be displayed on the Whats New section of our homepage and in quarterly newsletters.

Q. Can I make payments to my VISA Card and Mortgage loan using cyberteller?

A. No, cyberteller does not currently support the transfer of payments to VISA cards or Mortgage loans.

Q. I forgot my username/password to VISA Online.

A. If you have forgotten the username or password used when you initally registered for access to the VISA Online site, you will need to email cbsupport@usffcu.org with your first and last name, previous VISA Online user name (if known), new VISA Online user name, and last 4 digits of your VISA account card number. This is necessary so that we can delete the duplicate username.

After emailing us the requested information, you must re-Register from the VISA Online site in order to regain access to your statements. You can re-register at any time.

Q. How do I download my statements into Microsoft Money or Quicken?

A. In order to download your online statement for use in Quicken/MS Money, you must select the account, time period, and format for the resulting file you want to download; then press the Submit button.

After pressing Submit you should be presented with a File Download window prompting you to save the file and requiring you to select a download location on your computer. I recommend saving this file to your desktop so that it can be easily located after the download process is complete. The file will normally start with the word Teller followed by a series of alphanumeric characters. At this point you can simply click the Save button or append .QIF to the file extension for easy importing into Quicken/MS Money.

Once the file has been successfully downloaded, start Quicken/MS Money and select File, Import from the menu bar. The next window that appears prompts you to select the Teller file you just saved to your computer. If you did not add the .QIF extension to the Teller file then you will have to select the All Files option from the drop down box which is initially only displaying files with the .QIF extension. The label for the drop down box reads 'Files of Type'. Press OK after selecting the Teller file and the particular financial program you are using should be able to assist with the additional steps necessary to merge the downloaded statement with the program data.

Q. How do I print my history details using Netscape browser?

A. Internet Explorer allows you to print directly from the print command on the browser. Netscape will output a printout stating Data Missing or related error message.

The workaround for Netscape users is to click the button showing overlapping squares to the far right beneath the line showing: YOUR NAME - You are currently logged in

This pops up a printable window of your history that you can either press Control-P on your keyboard or right click within the window and select Print in order to pull up the print menu. It's a few extra steps but necessary in order to print using Netscape.
